Dr. Fribley provides treatment to children, adolescents, families and adults, offering a comprehensive approach to individual and family problems. Specialty areas include depression, anxiety, and ADHD/ADD. Her philosophy of respect for individual differences and reluctance to label people as abnormal determines her approach. She strongly believes that the type of therapeutic intervention offered should always depend on the particular needs of the patient or family.

Dr. Fribley practices child, adolescent and adult psychiatry in Dallas. Following graduation from Valparaiso University, Dr. Fribley received her MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, underwent residency training at University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center, and completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, the primary teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School.

After serving as a chief resident during her final year in Boston, she then joined the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center faculty as an attending physician on the Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service at Children's Medical Center Dallas for six years. As an academic clinician, Dr. Fribley was actively involved in the medical education of medical students, training of residents in psychiatry as well as research initiatives in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. In 2010, she established a private medical practice, and has been named by D Magazine as a Best Doctor for her specialty. She currently lives in Dallas with her husband and their two children.

A typical evaluation involves a 90-minute appointment as well as collateral history obtained from primary care physicians, psychological testing, teachers and therapists as appropriate. Typical follow-up appointments are 30 minutes in length.

Cancellation Policy

Generally, if an appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled 24 business hours prior to the scheduled appointment the charge is the same as the standard appointment fee.

Insurance Policy

Dr. Fribley does not contract with or bill insurance companies. However, she can provide an invoice at the time of appointment that contains the necessary information for patients to seek reimbursement from their insurance carrier. Dr. Fribley cannot predict or guarantee what amount your insurance will reimburse you.
